1	유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 제사년에 {주}로부터 이 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라. 이르시되,	0
	Now it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, that this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying:
	유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김 사년에 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 말씀이 임하니라 가라사대
2	너는 두루마리 책을 가져다가 내가 네게 말하던 날로부터 곧 요시야 시대로부터 이 날까지 이스라엘과 유다와 모든 민족들을 향하여 내가 네게 이른 모든 말을 그 안에 기록하라.	0
	"Take a scroll of a book and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel, against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah even to this day.
	너는 두루마리 책을 취하여 내가 네게 말하던 날 곧 요시야의 날부터 오늘까지 이스라엘과 유다와 열방에 대하여 나의 네게 이른 모든 말을 그것에 기록하라
3	혹시 유다의 집이 내가 그들에게 행하려고 작정하는 모든 재앙에 대하여 듣고 그들이 각각 자기의 악한 길에서 돌이키면 내가 그들의 불법과 그들의 죄를 용서하리라, 하시니라.	0
	"It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the adversities which I purpose to bring upon them, that everyone may turn from his evil way, that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin."
	유다 족속이 내가 그들에게 내리려한 모든 재앙을 듣고 각기 악한 길에서 돌이킬듯 하니라 그리하면 내가 그 악과 죄를 사하리라
4	이에 예레미야가 네리야의 아들 바룩을 부르매 바룩이 {주}께서 예레미야에게 말씀하신 그분의 모든 말씀을 그의 입에서 받아 두루마리 책에 기록하니라.	0
	Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah; and Baruch wrote on a scroll of a book, at the instruction of Jeremiah, all the words of the LORD which He had spoken to him.
	이에 예레미야가 네리야의 아들 바룩을 부르매 바룩이 예레미야의 구전대로 여호와께서 그에게 이르신 모든 말씀을 두루마리 책에 기록하니라
5	예레미야가 바룩에게 명령하여 이르되, 나는 갇혀서 {주}의 집에 들어갈 수 없으니	0
	And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, "I am confined, I cannot go into the house of the LORD.
	예레미야가 바룩을 명하여 가로되 나는 감금을 당한지라 여호와의 집에 들어갈 수 없은즉
6	그러므로 너는 가서 내 입에서 받아 네가 기록한 두루마리에 있는 {주}의 말씀들을 금식하는 날에 {주}의 집에서 백성의 귀에 낭독하고 또 유다의 도시들에서 나오는 온 유다의 귀에도 그것들을 낭독하라.	0
	"You go, therefore, and read from the scroll which you have written at my instruction, the words of the LORD, in the hearing of the people in the LORD'S house on the day of fasting. And you shall also read them in the hearing of all Judah who come from their cities.
	너는 들어가서 나의 구전대로 두루마리에 기록한 여호와의 말씀을 금식일에 여호와의 집에 있는 백성의 귀에 낭독하고 유다 모든 성에서 온 자들의 귀에도 낭독하라
7	혹시 그들이 {주} 앞에서 자기들의 간구를 드리고 각 사람이 자기의 악한 길에서 돌이키리라. {주}께서 이 백성을 향해 선언하신 분노와 격노가 크니라, 하매	0
	"It may be that they will present their supplication before the LORD, and everyone will turn from his evil way. For great is the anger and the fury that the LORD has pronounced against this people."
	그들이 여호와 앞에 기도를 드리며 각기 악한 길을 떠날듯 하니라 여호와께서 이 백성에 대하여 선포하신 노와 분이 크니라
8	네리야의 아들 바룩이 대언자 예레미야가 자기에게 명령한 모든 것에 따라 행하여 {주}의 집에서 그 책에 있는 {주}의 말씀들을 낭독하니라.	0
	And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading from the book the words of the LORD in the LORD'S house.
	네리야의 아들 바룩이 무릇 선지자 예레미야의 자기에게 명한 대로 하여 여호와의 집에서 책에 있는 여호와의 말씀을 낭독하니라
9	유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 제오년 구월에 그들이 예루살렘의 온 백성과 유다의 도시들에서 예루살렘에 이른 온 백성에게 {주} 앞에서 금식할 것을 선포하매	0
	Now it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem.
	유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 오년 구월에 예루살렘 모든 백성과 유다 성읍들에서 예루살렘에 이른 모든 백성이 여호와 앞에서 금식을 선포한지라
10	그때에 바룩이 {주}의 집 위 뜰에서 곧 {주}의 집의 새 문 어귀에 있던 방 즉 서기관 사반의 아들 그마랴의 방에서 그 책에 있던 예레미야의 말들을 온 백성의 귀에 낭독하니라.	0
	Then Baruch read from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper court at the entry of the New Gate of the LORD'S house, in the hearing of all the people.
	바룩이 여호와의 집 윗뜰 곧 여호와의 집 새문 어귀의 곁에 있는 사반의 아들 서기관 그마랴의 방에서 그 책에 있는 예레미야의 말을 낭독하여 모든 백성에게 들리니라
11	¶ 사반의 손자요, 그마랴의 아들인 미가야가 그 책에서 나온 {주}의 모든 말씀을 듣고	0
	When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, heard all the words of the LORD from the book,
	사반의 손자요 그마랴의 아들인 미가야가 그 책에 있는 여호와의 말씀을 다 듣고
12	그때에 왕의 집으로 내려가 서기관의 방으로 들어가매, 보라, 모든 통치자들 곧 서기관 엘리사마와 스마야의 아들 들라야와 악볼의 아들 엘나단과 사반의 아들 그마랴와 하나냐의 아들 시드기야와 모든 통치자들이 거기 앉아 있더라.	0
	he then went down to the king's house, into the scribe's chamber; and there all the princes were sitting--Elishama the scribe, Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, Elnathan the son of Achbor, Gemariah the son of Shaphan, Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.
	왕궁에 내려가서 서기관의 방에 들어가니 모든 방백 곧 서기관 엘리사마와 스마야의 아들 들라야와 악볼의 아들 엘라단과 사반의 아들 그마랴와 하나냐의 아들 시드기야와 모든 방백이 거기 앉았는지라
13	이에 미가야가 바룩이 백성의 귀에 그 책을 낭독할 때에 자기가 들은 모든 말씀을 그들에게 밝히 알리니라.	0
	Then Michaiah declared to them all the words that he had heard when Baruch read the book in the hearing of the people.
	미가야가 바룩의 백성의 귀에 책을 낭독할 때에 들은 모든 말로 그들에게 고하매
14	그러므로 모든 통치자들이 구시의 증손이요, 셀레미야의 손자요, 느다냐의 아들인 여후디를 바룩에게 보내어 이르되, 네가 백성의 귀에 낭독한 것이 들어 있는 두루마리를 네 손에 들고 오라, 하였으므로 네리야의 아들 바룩이 그 두루마리를 자기 손에 들고 그들에게로 오매	0
	Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, to Baruch, saying, "Take in your hand the scroll from which you have read in the hearing of the people, and come." So Baruch the son of Neriah took the scroll in his hand and came to them.
	이에 모든 방백이 구시의 증손 셀레먀의 손자 느다냐의 아들 여후디를 바룩에게 보내어 이르되 너는 백성의 귀에 낭독한 두루마리를 손에 가지고 오라 네리야의 아들 바룩이 두루마리를 손에 가지고 그들에게로 가매
15	그들이 그에게 이르되, 이제 앉아서 그것을 우리 귀에 낭독하라, 하니 이에 바룩이 그것을 그들의 귀에 낭독하니라.	0
	And they said to him, "Sit down now, and read it in our hearing." So Baruch read it in their hearing.
	그들이 바룩에게 이르되 앉아서 이를 귀에 낭독하라 바룩이 그들 귀에 낭독하매
16	이제 그들이 그 모든 말씀을 듣고 서로 두려워하며 바룩에게 이르되, 우리가 반드시 이 모든 말을 왕에게 고하리라, 하고	0
	Now it happened, when they had heard all the words, that they looked in fear from one to another, and said to Baruch, "We will surely tell the king of all these words."
	그들이 그 모든 말씀을 듣고 놀라서 서로 보며 바룩에게 이르되 우리가 이 모든 말을 왕에게 고하리라
17	또 바룩에게 물어 이르되, 네가 어떻게 그의 입에서 이 모든 말을 받아 기록하였느냐? 이제 우리에게 말하라, 하매	0
	And they asked Baruch, saying, "Tell us now, how did you write all these words--at his instruction?"
	그들이 또 바룩에게 물어 가로되 네가 그 구전하는 이 모든 말을 어떻게 기록하였느뇨 청컨대 우리에게 이르라
18	그때에 바룩이 그들에게 대답하되, 그가 내게 자기 입으로 이 모든 말씀을 소리 내어 말하므로 내가 잉크로 이 책에 그것들을 기록하였노라, 하니	0
	So Baruch answered them, "He proclaimed with his mouth all these words to me, and I wrote them with ink in the book."
	바룩이 대답하되 그가 그 입으로 이 모든 말을 내게 베풀기로 내가 먹으로 책에 기록하였노라
19	이에 통치자들이 바룩에게 이르되, 가서 예레미야와 함께 숨고 너희가 있는 곳을 아무도 알지 못하게 하라, 하니라.	0
	Then the princes said to Baruch, "Go and hide, you and Jeremiah; and let no one know where you are."
	이에 방백들이 바룩에게 이르되 너는 가서 예레미야와 함께 숨고 너희 있는 곳을 사람에게 알리지 말라 하니라
20	¶ 그들이 그 두루마리를 서기관 엘리사마의 방에 두고 뜰로 들어가 왕에게 가서 모든 말을 왕의 귀에 고하니	0
	And they went to the king, into the court; but they stored the scroll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the hearing of the king.
	그들이 두루마리를 서기관 엘리사마의 방에 두고 뜰에 들어가 왕께 나아가서 이 모든 말로 왕의 귀에 고하니
21	이에 왕이 여후디를 보내어 그 두루마리를 가져오게 하매 여후디가 서기관 엘리사마의 방에서 그 두루마리를 가져다가 왕과 왕 곁에 서 있던 모든 통치자들의 귀에 그것을 낭독하니라.	0
	So the king sent Jehudi to bring the scroll, and he took it from Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the hearing of the king and in the hearing of all the princes who stood beside the king.
	왕이 여후디를 보내어 두루마리를 가져오게 하매 여후디가 서기관 엘리사마의 방에서 가져다가 왕과 왕의 곁에 선 모든 방백의 귀에 낭독하니
22	이제 왕은 구월에 겨울 집에 앉아 있고 왕 앞에는 불타는 화로에 불이 있더라.	0
	Now the king was sitting in the winter house in the ninth month, with a fire burning on the hearth before him.
	때는 구월이라 왕이 겨울궁전에 앉았고 그 앞에는 불 피운 화로가 있더라
23	여후디가 서너 쪽을 낭독했을 때에 그가 펜 칼로 그것을 찢어 화로 위의 불에 던져서 마침내 그 두루마리 전부를 화로 위의 불에서 소멸시켰더라.	0
	And it happened, when Jehudi had read three or four columns, that the king cut it with the scribe's knife and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the scroll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.
	여후디가 삼편 사편을 낭독하면 왕이 소도로 그것을 연하여 베어 화로 불에 던져서 온 두루마리를 태웠더라
24	그러나 이 모든 말을 들은 왕과 왕의 신하들 중의 아무도 두려워하거나 자기 옷을 찢지 아니하였더라.	0
	Yet they were not afraid, nor did they tear their garments, the king nor any of his servants who heard all these words.
	왕과 그 신하들이 이 모든 말을 듣고도 두려워하거나 그 옷을 찢지 아니하였고
25	그럼에도 불구하고 엘나단과 들라야와 그마랴가 왕에게 중재하여 왕이 그 두루마리를 태우지 말도록 아뢰었으나 왕이 그들의 말을 들으려 하지 아니하고	0
	Nevertheless Elnathan, Delaiah, and Gemariah implored the king not to burn the scroll; but he would not listen to them.
	엘라단과 들라야와 그마랴가 왕께 두루마리를 사르지 말기를 간구하여도 왕이 듣지 아니하였으며
26	오히려 왕이 함멜렉의 아들 여라므엘과 아스리엘의 아들 스라야와 압디엘의 아들 셀레미야에게 명령하여 서기관 바룩과 대언자 예레미야를 붙잡게 하니라. 그러나 {주}께서 그들을 숨기셨더라.	0
	And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king's son, Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet, but the LORD hid them.
	왕이 왕의 아들 여라므엘과 아스리엘의 아들 스라야와 압디엘의 아들 셀레먀를 명하여 서기관 바룩과 선지자 예레미야를 잡으라 하였으나 여호와께서 그들을 숨기셨더라
27	¶ 왕이 그 두루마리 곧 바룩이 예레미야의 입에서 받아 기록한 말씀들을 태운 뒤에 그때에 {주}의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라. 이르시되,	0
	Now after the king had burned the scroll with the words which Baruch had written at the instruction of Jeremiah, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying:
	왕이 두루마리와 바룩이 예레미야의 구전으로 기록한 말씀을 불사른 후에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
28	너는 다시 다른 두루마리를 가져다가 유다 왕 여호야김이 태운 첫 두루마리에 있던 이전의 모든 말을 거기에 기록하고	0
	"Take yet another scroll, and write on it all the former words that were in the first scroll which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned.
	너는 다시 다른 두루마리를 가지고 유다 왕 여호야김의 불사른 첫 두루마리의 모든 말을 기록하고
29	또 유다 왕 여호야김에게 이르기를, {주}가 이같이 말하노라. 네가 이 두루마리를 태우며 말하되, 네가 어찌하여 그 안에 기록하여 이르기를, 바빌론 왕이 반드시 와서 이 땅을 멸하고 이곳에서 사람과 짐승이 끊어지게 하리라, 하였느냐? 하였으니	0
	"And you shall say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, 'Thus says the LORD: "You have burned this scroll, saying, 'Why have you written in it that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and cause man and beast to cease from here?'"
	또 유다 왕 여호야김에 대하여 이같이 말하기를 여호와의 말씀에 그가 이 두루마리를 불사르며 말하기를 네가 어찌하여 바벨론 왕이 정녕히 와서 이 땅을 멸하고 사람과 짐승을 이 땅에서 없어지게 하리라 하는 말을 이 두루마리에 기록하였느뇨 하도다
30	그러므로 {주}가 유다 왕 여호야김에 대하여 이같이 말하노라. 다윗의 왕좌에 앉을 자가 그에게 없겠고 그의 시체는 버림을 받아 낮에는 열기를, 밤에는 서리를 맞으리라.	0
	'Therefore thus says the LORD concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: "He shall have no one to sit on the throne of David, and his dead body shall be cast out to the heat of the day and the frost of the night.
	그러므로 나 여호와가 유다 왕 여호야김에 대하여 이같이 말하노라 그에게 다윗의 위에 앉을 자가 없게 될 것이요 그 시체는 버림을 입어서 낮에는 더위, 밤에는 추위를 당하리라
31	또 내가 그와 그의 씨와 그의 신하들을 그들의 불법으로 인하여 벌하리라. 내가 그들과 예루살렘 거주민들과 유다 사람들을 향해 선언하였으나 그들이 귀를 기울이지 아니한 모든 재앙을 그들에게 내리리라, 하라.	0
	"I will punish him, his family, and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring on them, on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and on the men of Judah all the doom that I have pronounced against them; but they did not heed."'"
	또 내가 그와 그 자손과 신하들을 그들의 죄악을 인하여 벌할 것이라 내가 일찍 그들과 예루살렘 거민과 유다 사람에게 선포하였으나 그들이 듣지 아니한 그 모든 재앙을 내리리라 하셨다 하라
32	¶ 이에 예레미야가 다른 두루마리를 가져다가 네리야의 아들 서기관 바룩에게 주니 그가 유다 왕 여호야김이 불에 태운 그 책의 모든 말씀을 예레미야의 입에서 받아 그 안에 기록하고 그것들 외에도 그와 같은 말씀들을 거기에 많이 더하였더라.	0
	Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote on it at the instruction of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And besides, there were added to them many similar words.
	이에 예레미야가 다른 두루마리를 취하여 네리야의 아들 서기관 바룩에게 주매 그가 유다 왕 여호야김의 불사른 책의 모든 말을 예레미야의 구전대로 기록하고 그 외에도 그 같은 말을 많이 더 하였더라
