이스라엘 자손이 이집트 땅에서 나온 지 사백팔십 년이 되는 해 곧 솔로몬이 이스라엘을 통치한 지 사 년이 되는 해 시브 월 즉 둘째 달에 그가 {주}의 집을 건축하기 시작하였더라.

And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

|
이스라엘 자손이 애굽 땅에서 나온지 사백팔십 년이요 솔로몬이 이스라엘 왕이 된지 사년 시브월 곧 이월에 솔로몬이 여호와를 위하여 전 건축하기를 시작하였더라

|

솔로몬 왕이 {주}를 위하여 건축한 집은 길이가 육십 큐빗이요, 너비가 이십 큐빗이요, 높이가 삼십 큐빗이었으며

|
Now the house which King Solomon built for the LORD, its length was sixty cubits, its width twenty, and its height thirty cubits.
|
|
|
|
솔로몬 왕이 여호와를 위하여 건축한 전은 장이 육십 규빗이요 광이 이십 규빗이요 고가 삼십 규빗이며
|
|
|

|
그 집의 전 앞에 있던 주랑의 길이는 그 집의 너비와 같이 이십 큐빗이요, 그것의 너비는 집 앞에서 십 큐빗이었더라.

|
The vestibule in front of the sanctuary of the house was twenty cubits long across the width of the house, and the width of the vestibule extended ten cubits from the front of the house.
|
|
|
|
전의 성소 앞 낭실의 장은 전의 광과 같이 이십 규빗이요 그 광은 전 앞에서부터 십 규빗이며

|
그가 그 집을 위해 폭이 좁은 채광창들을 만들었더라.

And he made for the house windows with beveled frames.
|
|
|
|
전을 위하여 붙박이 교창을 내고
|
|
|

¶ 또 그가 그 집의 벽에 맞대어 돌아가며 방들을 만들되 돌아가며 그 집의 벽 곧 전과 하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳의 벽에 맞대어 돌아가며 방들을 만들었더라.

|
Against the wall of the temple he built chambers all around, against the walls of the temple, all around the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. Thus he made side chambers all around it.
|
|
|
|
또 전의 벽 곧 성소와 지성소의 벽에 연접하여 돌아가며 다락들을 건축하되 다락마다 돌아가며 골방들을 만들었으니

맨 아래층 방의 너비는 오 큐빗이요, 가운데 층 방의 너비는 육 큐빗이며 셋째 층 방의 너비는 칠 큐빗이었으니 이것은 그가 그 집의 벽 바깥쪽에 폭이 좁아지는 받침대들을 돌아가며 만들어 그 집 벽에 들보들을 고정시키지 아니하려 함이더라.

The lowest chamber was five cubits wide, the middle was six cubits wide, and the third was seven cubits wide; for he made narrow ledges around the outside of the temple, so that the support beams would not be fastened into the walls of the temple.

|
|
하층 다락의 광은 다섯 규빗이요 중층 다락의 광은 여섯 규빗이요 제삼층 다락의 광은 일곱 규빗이라 전의 벽 바깥으로 돌아가며 턱을 내어 골방 들보들로 전의 벽에 박히지 않게 하였으며

그 집은 건축할 때에 돌을 거기로 가져가기 전에 미리 예비하여 건축하였으므로 그것을 건축하는 동안에 집안에서는 쇠망치나 도끼나 어떤 쇠 연장 소리도 들리지 아니하였더라.

And the temple, when it was being built, was built with stone finished at the quarry, so that no hammer or chisel or any iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built.
|
|
|
|
이 전은 건축할 때에 돌을 뜨는 곳에서 치석하고 가져다가 건축하였으므로 건축하는 동안에 전 속에서는 방망이나 도끼나 모든 철 연장 소리가 들리지 아니하였으며
|
|
|

가운데 층 방의 문은 그 집의 오른쪽에 있었으며 그들이 나선식 계단으로 가운데 층 방으로 올라갔고 가운데 층 방에서 셋째 층 방으로 올라갔더라.

The doorway for the middle story was on the right side of the temple. They went up by stairs to the middle story, and from the middle to the third.
|
|
|
|
중층 골방의 문은 전 오른편에 있는데 나사모양 사닥다리로 말미암아 하층에서 중층에 오르고 중층에서 제삼층에 오르게 하였더라

|
이와 같이 그가 그 집을 건축하고 마치니라. 그가 백향목 들보와 널빤지로 그 집을 덮었고

|
So he built the temple and finished it, and he paneled the temple with beams and boards of cedar.
|
|
|
|
전의 건축이 마치니라 그 전은 백향목 서까래와 널판으로 덮었고
|
|
|

그 뒤에 온 집을 향해 높이가 오 큐빗 되는 방들을 돌아가며 건축하되 백향목 재목을 가지고 그것들을 그 집 위에 얹어 놓았더라.

And he built side chambers against the entire temple, each five cubits high; they were attached to the temple with cedar beams.
|
|
|
|
또 온 전으로 돌아가며 고가 다섯 규빗 되는 다락방을 건축하되 백향목 들보로 전에 연접하게 하였더라

|

|
¶ {주}의 말씀이 솔로몬에게 임하니라. 이르시되,
|

Then the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying:
|
|
|
|
여호와의 말씀이 솔로몬에게 임하여 가라사대
|
|
|

|
네가 건축하고 있는 이 집으로 말하건대 만일 네가 내 법규 안에서 걷고 내 판단의 법도를 집행하며 내 모든 명령을 지켜 그것들 안에서 걸으면 내가 네 아버지 다윗에게 한 내 말을 네게 행할 것이요,

"Concerning this temple which you are building, if you walk in My statutes, execute My judgments, keep all My commandments, and walk in them, then I will perform My word with you, which I spoke to your father David.
|
|
|
|
네가 이제 이 전을 건축하니 네가 만일 내 법도를 따르며 내 율례를 행하며 나의 모든 계명을 지켜 그대로 행하면 내가 네 아비 다윗에게 한 말을 네게 확실히 이룰 것이요
|
|
|

|
또 내가 이스라엘 자손 가운데 거하며 내 백성 이스라엘을 버리지 아니하리라, 하셨더라.
|

|
"And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel."
|
|
|
|
내가 또한 이스라엘 자손 가운데 거하며 내 백성 이스라엘을 버리지 아니하리라 하셨더라
|
|
|

|
이와 같이 솔로몬이 그 집을 건축하여 완성하고
|

|
So Solomon built the temple and finished it.
|
|
|
|
솔로몬이 전 건축하기를 마치고
|
|
|

|
그 집 내부 벽 곧 그 집의 마루와 천장의 벽을 백향목 널빤지로 지으니라. 그가 그것들의 내부는 나무로 덮었고 그 집의 마루는 전나무 널빤지로 덮었으며

|
And he built the inside walls of the temple with cedar boards; from the floor of the temple to the ceiling he paneled the inside with wood; and he covered the floor of the temple with planks of cypress.
|
|
|
|
백향목 널판으로 전의 안 벽 곧 전 마루에서 천장까지의 벽에 입히고 또 잣나무 널판으로 전 마루를 놓고
|
|
|

|
또 그 집의 옆면에 마루와 벽들 이십 큐빗을 백향목 널빤지로 짓되 곧 내부에 있는 그것, 하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳 즉 지성소를 위해 그것들을 지으니라.

Then he built the twenty-cubit room at the rear of the temple, from floor to ceiling, with cedar boards; he built it inside as the inner sanctuary, as the Most Holy Place.
|
|
|
|
또 전 뒤편에서부터 이십 규빗 되는 곳에 마루에서 천장까지 백향목 널판으로 가로막아 전의 내소 곧 지성소를 만들었으며

|
|

|
그 집 곧 그것 앞의 전은 길이가 사십 큐빗이었으며
|

|
And in front of it the temple sanctuary was forty cubits long.
|
|
|
|
내소 앞에 있는 외소 곧 성소의 장이 사십 규빗이며
|
|
|

|
그 집 내부의 백향목에는 둥근 꽃받침과 핀 꽃들을 새겼더라. 모든 것이 백향목이고 돌을 볼 수 없었더라.

|
The inside of the temple was cedar, carved with ornamental buds and open flowers. All was cedar; there was no stone to be seen.
|
|
|
|
전 안에 입힌 백향목에는 박과 핀 꽃을 아로새겼고 모두 백향목이라 돌이 보이지 아니하며

|
또 그가 {주}의 언약 궤를 두기 위해 그 집의 내부에 하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳을 예비하였는데

|
And he prepared the inner sanctuary inside the temple, to set the ark of the covenant of the LORD there.
|
|
|
|
여호와의 언약궤를 두기 위하여 전 안에 내소를 예비하였는데
|
|
|

|
하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳의 앞부분은 길이가 이십 큐빗이요, 너비가 이십 큐빗이요, 높이가 이십 큐빗이더라. 그가 순금으로 그것을 입혔고 마찬가지로 백향목으로 된 제단에도 입혔더라.

The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high. He overlaid it with pure gold, and overlaid the altar of cedar.

|
|
그 내소의 속이 장이 이십 규빗이요 광이 이십 규빗이요 고가 이십 규빗이라 정금으로 입혔고 백향목 단에도 입혔더라

|
이처럼 솔로몬이 그 집의 내부를 순금으로 입히고 하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳 앞에 금사슬로 칸막이를 만들어 그것을 금으로 입히며

So Solomon overlaid the inside of the temple with pure gold. He stretched gold chains across the front of the inner sanctuary, and overlaid it with gold.
|
|
|
|
솔로몬이 정금으로 외소 안에 입히고 내소 앞에 금사슬로 건너지르고 내소를 금으로 입히고
|
|
|

|
온 집을 금으로 입혀 마침내 온 집을 완성하니라. 그가 또 하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳 옆에 있던 제단을 온통 금으로 입혔더라.

|
The whole temple he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the temple; also he overlaid with gold the entire altar that was by the inner sanctuary.
|
|
|
|
온 전을 금으로 입히기를 마치고 내소에 속한 단의 전부를 금으로 입혔더라

|

|
¶ 또 그가 하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳 안에 올리브나무로 두 그룹을 만들었는데 각각의 높이가 십 큐빗이더라.

|
Inside the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim of olive wood, each ten cubits high.
|
|
|
|
내소 안에 감람목으로 두 그룹을 만들었는데 그 고가 각각 십 규빗이라
|
|
|

|
그룹의 한 날개는 오 큐빗이요, 그룹의 다른 날개도 오 큐빗이니 한 날개의 맨 끝에서부터 다른 날개의 맨 끝까지 십 큐빗이며

|
One wing of the cherub was five cubits, and the other wing of the cherub five cubits: ten cubits from the tip of one wing to the tip of the other.
|
|
|
|
한 그룹의 이 날개는 다섯 규빗이요 저 날개도 다섯 규빗이니 이 날개 끝으로부터 저 날개 끝까지 십 규빗이며
|
|
|

|
다른 그룹도 십 큐빗이니 그 두 그룹은 한 치수, 한 크기더라.

|
And the other cherub was ten cubits; both cherubim were of the same size and shape.
|
|
|
|
다른 그룹도 십 규빗이니 그 두 그룹은 한 척수, 한 모양이요
|
|
|

|
한 그룹의 높이가 십 큐빗이요, 다른 그룹의 높이도 마찬가지더라.

|
|
The height of one cherub was ten cubits, and so was the other cherub.
|
|
|
|
이 그룹의 고가 십 규빗이요 저 그룹도 일반이라
|
|
|

|
그가 안쪽 집 안에 그룹들을 두매 그들이 그룹들의 날개들을 펼쳐 놓아 한 그룹의 날개는 한 쪽 벽에 닿게 하고 다른 그룹의 날개는 다른 쪽 벽에 닿게 하니 그것들의 날개들이 그 집 한가운데서 서로 닿았더라.

Then he set the cherubim inside the inner room; and they stretched out the wings of the cherubim so that the wing of the one touched one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall. And their wings touched each other in the middle of the room.

|
|
|
솔로몬이 내소 가운데 그룹을 두었으니 그룹들의 날개가 폐었는데 이 그룹의 날개는 이 벽에 닿았고 저 그룹의 날개는 저 벽에 닿았으며 두 날개는 전의 중앙에서 서로 닿았더라

또 그가 금으로 그룹들을 입혔으며

Also he overlaid the cherubim with gold.
|
|
|
|
저가 금으로 그룹에 입혔더라

|
|

집의 사면 모든 벽에는 안팎으로 그룹과 종려나무와 핀 꽃들의 새긴 형상을 새겼고

|
|
Then he carved all the walls of the temple all around, both the inner and outer sanctuaries, with carved figures of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers.
|
|
|
|
내외소 사면 벽에는 모두 그룹들과 종려와 핀 꽃 형상을 아로새겼고
|
|
|

|
그 집의 마루를 안팎으로 금으로 입혔더라.
|

|
|
And the floor of the temple he overlaid with gold, both the inner and outer sanctuaries.
|
|
|
|
내외 전 마루에는 금으로 입혔으며

|

¶ 또 그가 올리브나무로 만든 문들을 하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳의 입구로 만들었는데 그 문들의 인방과 양옆 기둥이 벽의 오분의 일을 차지하였더라.

|
For the entrance of the inner sanctuary he made doors of olive wood; the lintel and doorposts were one-fifth of the wall.
|
|
|
|
내소에 들어가는 곳에는 감람목으로 문을 만들었는데 그 문 인방과 문설주는 벽의 오분지 일이요

|
|

|
그가 그 두 문도 올리브나무로 만들었으며 또 그것들에 그룹과 종려나무와 핀 꽃들을 새기고 그것들을 금으로 입히며 그룹과 종려나무들에 금을 깔았더라.

The two doors were of olive wood; and he carved on them figures of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold; and he spread gold on the cherubim and on the palm trees.
|
|
|
|
감람목으로 만든 그 두 문짝에 그룹과 종려와 핀 꽃을 아로새기고 금으로 입히되 곧 그룹들과 종려에 금으로 입혔더라
|
|
|

|
또한 그가 이와 같이 전의 문을 위하여 올리브나무로 기둥들을 만들었는데 그것들이 벽의 사분의 일을 차지했으며

So for the door of the sanctuary he also made doorposts of olive wood, one-fourth of the wall.
|
|
|
|
또 외소의 문을 위하여 감람목으로 문설주를 만들었으니 곧 벽의 사분지 일이며

또 그가 그 두 문을 전나무로 만들었더라. 또 그가 한 문의 두 문짝을 접히게 하였고 다른 문의 두 문짝도 접히게 하였으며

|
And the two doors were of cypress wood; two panels comprised one folding door, and two panels comprised the other folding door.
|
|
|
|
그 두 문짝은 잣나무라 이 문짝도 두 짝으로 접게 되었고 저 문짝도 두 짝으로 접게 되었으며

|
그 위에 그룹과 종려나무와 핀 꽃들을 새기고 그 새긴 곳에 맞게 그것들을 금으로 덮었더라.

Then he carved cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers on them, and overlaid them with gold applied evenly on the carved work.
|
|
|
|
그 문짝에 그룹들과 종려와 핀 꽃을 아로새기고 금으로 입히되 그 새긴데 맞게 하였고

|
¶ 또 그가 다듬은 돌 세 줄과 백향목 들보 한 줄로 안뜰을 건축하였더라.

And he built the inner court with three rows of hewn stone and a row of cedar beams.
|
|
|
|
또 다듬은 돌 세 켜와 백향목 두꺼운 판자 한 켜로 둘러 안뜰을 만들었더라

¶ 제사년 시브 월에 {주}의 집의 기초가 놓이고

|
|
In the fourth year the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid, in the month of Ziv.
|
|
|
|
제사년 시브월에 여호와의 전 기초를 쌓았고
|
|
|

|
제십일년 불 월 곧 여덟째 달에 그 집의 모든 양식대로 그 집이 완성되되 그것의 모든 부분에서 완성되었으니 그가 이와 같이 칠 년 동안 그것을 건축하였더라.

|
And in the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was finished in all its details and according to all its plans. So he was seven years in building it.

|
|
제십일년 불월 곧 팔월에 그 설계와 식양대로 전이 다 필역되었으니 솔로몬이 전을 건축한 동안이 칠 년이었더라
