일곱째 달이 이르렀을 때에 이스라엘 자손이 도시들에 거하다가 백성이 한 사람같이 예루살렘에 함께 모이니

And when the seventh month had come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered together as one man to Jerusalem.
|
|
|
|
이스라엘 자손이 그 본성에 거하였더니 칠월에 이르러 일제히 예루살렘에 모인지라
|
|
|

그때에 요사닥의 아들 예수아와 그의 형제 제사장들과 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 그의 형제들이 일어나서 [하나님]의 사람 모세의 율법에 기록된 대로 번제 헌물을 제단 위에 드리려고 이스라엘의 [하나님]의 제단을 쌓았더라.

Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brethren, arose and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God.
|

|
|
요사닥의 아들 예수아와 그 형제 제사장들과 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 그 형제들이 다 일어나 이스라엘 하나님의 단을 만들고 하나님의 사람 모세의 율법에 기록한 대로 번제를 그 위에 드리려 할새

그 지역들의 사람들로 인하여 그들에게 두려움이 임하였으므로 그들이 제단을 그것의 기초에 세우고 그 위에 {주}께 번제 헌물을 드리되 아침저녁으로 번제 헌물을 드리며

|
Though fear had come upon them because of the people of those countries, they set the altar on its bases; and they offered burnt offerings on it to the LORD, both the morning and evening burnt offerings.
|
|
|
|
무리가 열국 백성을 두려워하여 단을 그 터에 세우고 그 위에 조석으로 여호와께 번제를 드리며
|
|
|

|
또 기록된 대로 장막절도 지키고 날마다 요구되는 의무로서 관습에 따라 수효대로 매일 드리는 번제 헌물을 드리고

|
They also kept the Feast of Tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings in the number required by ordinance for each day.
|
|
|
|
기록된 규례대로 초막절을 지켜 번제를 매일 정수대로 날마다 드리고
|
|
|

그 뒤에는 항상 드리는 번제 헌물 곧 월삭과 거룩히 구분되고 정해진 {주}의 모든 명절들에 드리는 번제 헌물과 또 자원하여 {주}께 자원 헌물을 드린 모든 사람의 번제 헌물을 드렸더라.

Afterwards they offered the regular burnt offering, and those for New Moons and for all the appointed feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and those of everyone who willingly offered a freewill offering to the LORD.

|
그 후에는 항상 드리는 번제와 초하루와 여호와의 모든 거룩한 절기의 번제와 사람이 여호와께 즐거이 드리는 예물을 드리되
|

그들이 일곱째 달 초하루부터 {주}께 번제 헌물을 드리기 시작하였으나 {주}의 성전의 기초는 여전히 놓지 못하였더라.

From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD, although the foundation of the temple of the LORD had not been laid.
|
|
|
|
칠월 초하루부터 비로소 여호와께 번제를 드렸으나 그 때에 여호와의 전 지대는 오히려 놓지 못한지라
|
|
|

|
그들이 또한 석공과 목수들에게 돈을 주고 또 시돈에서 온 자들과 두로에서 온 자들에게 먹을 것과 마실 것과 기름을 주어 자기들이 페르시아 왕 고레스로부터 허가받은 대로 백향목을 레바논에서 욥바의 바다까지 가져오게 하였더라.

They also gave money to the masons and the carpenters, and food, drink, and oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre to bring cedar logs from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa, according to the permission which they had from Cyrus king of Persia.

|
|
이에 석수와 목수에게 돈을 주고 또 시돈 사람과 두로 사람에게 먹을 것과 마실 것과 기름을 주고 바사 왕 고레스의 조서대로 백향목을 레바논에서 욥바 해변까지 수운하게 하였더라

¶ 이제 그들이 예루살렘에 있는 [하나님]의 집에 다다른 뒤 둘째 해 둘째 달에 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 요사닥의 아들 예수아와 그들의 형제 제사장들과 레위 사람들 중 남은 자들과 포로 생활에서 벗어나 예루살렘에 다다른 모든 사람이 일을 시작하고 {주}의 집 일을 진척시키기 위해 스무 살이 넘은 레위 사람들을 임명하니라.

Now in the second month of the second year of their coming to the house of God at Jerusalem, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the rest of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all those who had come out of the captivity to Jerusalem, began work and appointed the Levites from twenty years old and above to oversee the work of the house of the LORD.

|
예루살렘 하나님의 전에 이른지 이년 이월에 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 요사닥의 아들 예수아와 다른 형제 제사장들과 레위 시람들과 무릇 사로잡혔다가 예루살렘에 돌아온 자들이 역사를 시작하고 이십 세 이상의 레위 사람들을 세워 여호와의 전 역사를 감독하게 하매

그때에 예수아와 그의 아들들과 그의 형제들과 갓미엘과 그의 아들들과 유다의 아들들이 함께 서서 [하나님]의 집에서 일꾼들을 독려하니 곧 헤나닷의 아들들과 그들의 아들들과 그들의 형제 레위 사람들이라.

Then Jeshua with his sons and brothers, Kadmiel with his sons, and the sons of Judah, arose as one to oversee those working on the house of God: the sons of Henadad with their sons and their brethren the Levites.

|
|
|
이에 예수아와 그 아들들과 그 형제들과 갓미엘과 그 아들들과 유다 자손과 헤나닷 자손과 그 형제 레위 사람들이 일제히 일어나 하나님의 전 공장을 감독하니라
|
|
|

건축자들이 {주}의 성전의 기초를 놓을 때에 제사장들은 자기들의 옷을 입고 나팔을 들고 아삽의 아들들 레위 사람들은 심벌즈를 들고 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 규례대로 {주}를 찬양하되

When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, the priests stood in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the LORD, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel.
|
|
|
|
건축자가 여호와의 전 지대를 놓을 때에 제사장들은 예복을 입고 나팔을 들고 아삽 자손 레위 사람들은 제금을 들고 서서 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 규례대로 여호와를 찬송하되

|
|

|
그들이 계열대로 {주}께 찬양과 감사를 드리며 함께 노래하였으니 이는 그분께서 선하시며 이스라엘을 향한 그분의 긍휼이 영원하기 때문이더라. {주}의 집의 기초가 놓였으므로 온 백성이 {주}를 찬양하며 매우 큰 소리로 소리를 내었더라.

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the LORD: "For He is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel." Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

|
|
서로 찬송가를 화답하며 여호와께 감사하여 가로되 주는 지선하시므로 그 인자하심이 이스라엘에게 영원하시도다 하니 모든 백성이 여호와의 전 지대가 놓임을 보고 여호와를 찬송하며 큰 소리로 즐거이 부르며

그러나 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 아버지들의 우두머리들 중의 많은 사람들 곧 첫째 집을 보았던 노인들은 자기들의 눈앞에 이 집의 기초가 놓인 것을 보고 큰 소리로 울었으며 많은 사람은 기뻐서 크게 소리를 내었으니

But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers' houses, old men who had seen the first temple, wept with a loud voice when the foundation of this temple was laid before their eyes. Yet many shouted aloud for joy,
|
|
|
|
제사장들과 레위 사람들과 족장들 중에 여러 노인은 첫 성전을 보았던고로 이제 이 전 지대 놓임을 보고 대성통곡하며 여러 사람은 기뻐하여 즐거이 부르니
|
|
|

|
이에 기뻐서 내는 소리와 백성의 우는 소리를 백성이 구분하지 못하였더라. 백성이 크게 외치매 그 소리가 멀리서도 들렸더라.

|
so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people, for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the sound was heard afar off.
|
|
|
|
백성의 크게 외치는 소리가 멀리 들리므로 즐거이 부르는 소리와 통곡하는 소리를 백성들이 분변치 못하였느니라
|
|
