1 이제 이스라엘 자손이 그들의 수대로 이러하니 곧 우두머리 아버지들과 천인 대장들과 백인 대장들과 또 여러 조의 모든 일에서 왕을 섬긴 그들의 직무 수행자들의 수가 이러하니라. 그들은 해마다 모든 달 내내 달별로 들어오고 나갔는데 각 조에 속한 자가 이만 사천 명이더라. 0
And the children of Israel, according to their number, the heads of fathers' houses, the captains of thousands and hundreds and their officers, served the king in every matter of the military divisions. These divisions came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, each division having twenty-four thousand.
이스라엘 자손의 모든 족장과 천부장과 백부장과 왕을 섬기는 유사들이 그 인수대로 반차가 나누이니 각 반열이 이만 사천 명씩이라 일 년 동안 달마다 체번하여 들어가며 나왔으니
2 첫째 달 첫째 조를 다스리는 자는 삽디엘의 아들 야소브암이요, 그의 조에 이만 사천 명이 있었더라. 0

Over the division of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his division Mikloth also was the leader; in his division were twenty-four thousand.

5 셋째 달을 맡은 군대의 셋째 대장은 수제사장 여호야다의 아들 브나야요, 그의 조에 이만 사천 명이 있었더라. 0
The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the priest, who was chief; in his division were twenty-four thousand.
삼월 군대의 셋째 장관은 대제사장 여호야다의 아들 브나야요 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이라
6 이 사람은 서른 명 가운데 용사인 그 브나야로서 그 서른 명 위에 있었으며 그의 조 안에 그의 아들 암미사밧이 있었더라. 0
This was the Benaiah who was mighty among the thirty, and was over the thirty; in his division was Ammizabad his son.
이 브나야는 삼십 인 중에 용사요 삼십 인 위에 있으며 그 반열 중에 그 아들 암미사밧이 있으며

The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him; in his division were twenty-four thousand.
사월 넷째 장관은 요압의 아우 아사헬이요 그 다음은 그 아들 스바댜니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요

Furthermore, over the tribes of Israel: the officer over the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri; over the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah;
이스라엘 지파를 관할하는 자는 이러하니라 르우벤 사람의 관장은 시그리의 아들 엘리에셀이요 시므온 사람의 관장은 마아가의 아들 스바댜요

22 단의 치리자는 여로함의 아들 아사르엘이니 이들이 이스라엘 지파들의 통치자였더라. 0

23 ¶ 그러나 다윗이 그들 중에서 스무 살이 되지 않은 자들의 수는 세지 아니하였으니 이는 {주}께서 전에 친히 이스라엘을 하늘들의 별들같이 불어나게 하리라고 말씀하셨기 때문이더라. 0
But David did not take the number of those twenty years old and under, because the LORD had said He would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.
이스라엘 사람의 이십 세 이하의 수효는 다윗이 조사하지 아니하였으니 이는 여호와께서 전에 말씀하시기를 이스라엘 사람을 하늘의 별 같이 많게 하리라 하셨음이라
24 스루야의 아들 요압이 수를 세기 시작하였으나 끝내지 못하였으니 이는 그 일로 인하여 진노가 이스라엘에게 임하였기 때문이라. 그 수는 다윗 왕의 연대기 기록에 들어가지 아니하였더라. 0
Joab the son of Zeruiah began a census, but he did not finish, for wrath came upon Israel because of this census; nor was the number recorded in the account of the chronicles of King David.
스루야의 아들 요압이 조사하기를 시작하고 끝내지 못하여서 그 일로 인하여 진노가 이스라엘에게 임한지라 그 수효를 다윗 왕의 역대지략에 기록하지 아니하였더라
25 ¶ 한편 아디엘의 아들 아스마벳은 왕의 보고를 맡았고 웃시야의 아들 여호나단은 밭과 도시와 마을과 성채의 저장고를 맡았더라. 0
And Azmaveth the son of Adiel was over the king's treasuries; and Jehonathan the son of Uzziah was over the storehouses in the field, in the cities, in the villages, and in the fortresses.
아디엘의 아들 아스마웹은 왕의 곳간을 맡았고 웃시야의 아들 요나단은 밭과 성읍과 촌과 산성의 곳간을 맡았고
26 또 글룹의 아들 에스리는 땅을 갈기 위해 밭일 하는 자들을 맡았고 0

And Shimei the Ramathite was over the vineyards, and Zabdi the Shiphmite was over the produce of the vineyards for the supply of wine.

Baal-Hanan the Gederite was over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowlands, and Joash was over the store of oil.

And Shitrai the Sharonite was over the herds that fed in Sharon, and Shaphat the son of Adlai was over the herds that were in the valleys.

31 하갈 사람 야시스는 양 떼를 맡았더라. 이들은 다 다윗 왕의 재산을 맡아 관리하는 자들이었더라. 0

Also Jehonathan, David's uncle, was a counselor, a wise man, and a scribe; and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons.
다윗의 아자비 요나단은 지혜가 있어서 모사가 되며 서기관도 되었고 학모니의 아들 여히엘은 왕의 아들들의 배종이 되었고
33 아히도벨은 왕의 조언자가 되었고 아렉 사람 후새는 왕의 벗이 되었으며 0
Ahithophel was the king's counselor, and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion.
아히도벨은 왕의 모사가 되었고 아렉 사람 후새는 왕의 벗이 되었고
34 브나야의 아들 여호야다와 아비아달은 아히도벨 다음이 되었고 요압은 왕의 군대의 대장이 되었더라. 0
After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, then Abiathar. And the general of the king's army was Joab.
브나야의 아들 여호야다와 아비아달은 아히도벨의 다음이 되었고 요압은 왕의 군대 장관이 되었더라
